After a couple years of keeping this site in cold storage, I decided it’s time to bite the bullet and put it back online.

In the starting post I suspected this might happen, and it did. But that’s all right, the web is full of brief blogs with only a couple of entries!

I’m thinking about writing a series of posts about setting up some self-hosted services, starting with Nextcloud. Personally, all my self-hosted services run using Podman. I recently adopted Quadlet, which makes the setup rather straightforward. More on that later.

I’ve also been eyeing on Cactus comments, which might pop up at the bottom of posts some time in the future. ActivityPub integration would also be nice, as I’ve been getting in on Mastodon during the past year or so. Implementing all this might result in less content though, which would be quite typical of me.
