While I don’t like the word blog, I think that it is the most accurate description for this site. I’ve been thinking of setting something like this up for a few years, but never got around to it. It still might be that there won’t be enough to say to give the impression of an active site, but that’s all right, the web is full of brief blogs with only a couple of entries.

I really enjoy helping people out on forums and Reddit, so I figured I’d be writing about some of the stuff I tinker with and have managed to get a somewhat firm understanding of. If all goes well, there will also be some of my own code showcased here, though like many fellow coders, a lot of stuff I do in my free time tends to stay in a very unfinished (==buggy) state.

Most of the content will most likely be related to Linux things and self-hosting. I hope someone will sometimes stumble here and find my ramblings useful, if only to have a good laugh about how wrong I’ve got it. We’ll see how it goes, hopefully I’ll manage to produce enough content to justify the wasted bandwith.
